Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I love the coffee here and staff. Got myself a cap recently. I really like the atmosphere of this place being both a coffee shop and prayer room."
"Had an iced hibiscus tea with lemonade as I wanted something refreshing and I enjoyed it. Very good taste, but was slightly sweeter than I was expecting. I think asking for 75% sweetness when ordering would bring it to an average sweetness level."
"I can't describe how amazingly beautiful and almost spiritual this coffee shop is. It's like taking coffee to an entire new level of glory!! From traditional favs, to their hand-crafted specialty drinks, each sip is just about heavenly perfection. You MUST stop in, breathe in, and drink in this liquid atmospheric delight."
"Hand + Rose is a coffee shop inside of a church on the south side of Dallas. With that being said, it is convenient for me to go to when in town. Now with that being said, they have a delicious tasting coffee. I personally love their roast. Here are the details on that: Roast: Medium Notes: Toasty with a hint of smoke (my favorite) Crema: Yes, good amount Bitterness: None Aftertaste: None I came twice and we ordered the vanilla rose oat milk lattes and they were divine. Customer service is great here also. Note: This place can get crowded on Sundays and it’s possible for them to run out of things."
"This experience at Hands and Rose Coffee was so amazing. We visited the Coffee Shop when we went to the Upperroom church. The only thing I regret is not buying my purple hoodie there. I waited until the EOY conference but sadly there was not any merch left. I guess I must wait until I visit again The Coffee was amazing here and the coffee shop people gave a smile here and there. Thank you for that. I felt more 'at ease' when they smiled at me as coming from Africa I felt a bit shy as it was my first time there. I hope to visit this space again in the future. I already miss Upperroom and the worship sessions. I am happy to have two copies of KEEP the blood warm. One for the family and one for me. I also got a copie of Camille Riggs book. It is amazing Thank you Hands and Rose. Keep the coffee warm until next time ⭐"
"Creative seasonal drinks, peaceful vibe, and friendly service! Great patio as well. I recommend the Maui Cup for the current seasonal drink. The Miel flavored-latte is also great and a staple on the menu."
"Oh mah gosh, we are quite the coffee aficionados and particular about our cup of Joe, but this was the best coffee (a hot vanilla latte and ginger rose iced matcha) we had in Dallas! The space is gorgeous, the staff genuinely kind and welp, they delivered Thank you URDallas!"
"On the surface, you would think this is just another coffee shop ducked off on some backroad. But once you actually go in you find out that coffee is actually secondary to the church that it's attached to! The coffee is cool. Nothing to write home about, but the atmosphere is very energetic and positive (people were coming in and out of praise and worship) which makes the coffee drinking experience a lot more enjoyable. If anything, come by here in the morning while people are hanging out and dipping in and out of the church. It's definitely a vibrant atmosphere that anyone who likes visiting coffee shops will really enjoy!"
